In Gainesville, Florida, there is a Christian pastor named Terry Jones who plans to hold a "Burn a Koran Day" on September 11. The fun never stops.
If Muslims have the right to build a mosque near Ground Zero, Christians have a right to burn Korans. What Mr. Jones plans is perfectly legal. It is also highly offensive to Muslims.
It is interesting to read some of the objections to Mr. Jones's plans. One of them is that doing this might inspire acts of terrorism. I did not see anyone raise this point when opposing the Ground Zero mosque.
